Motor Vehicle Crash on Linden Hill Road

December 8, 2025 – Mill Creek Fire Company was dispatched to a motor vehicle crash (MVC) at 3:50 PM at the intersection of Linden Hill Road and Skyline Drive in Pike Creek Valley.  Initial reports indicated a trapped person and multiple patients.

Units arrived on the scene and started the extrication process on the passenger door of the pickup truck.   A total of three patients were transported to the Christiana Emergency Room by Mill Creek and Hockessin ambulances.  New Castle County Paramedics also responded to the scene.

Delaware State Police helicopter (Trooper 4) was on the initial dispatched and responded to the scene and touched down at the Skyline Middle School.   After all patients were evaluated, it was decided they would be transported to the hospital by the ground units.

Traffic interruptions were heavy as vehicles were diverted around the crash scene   Delaware State Fire Police assisted with traffic control.  The scene was placed under control at 4:18 PM and all units cleared at 4:47 PM.  The Delaware State Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
