The E-ONE Cyclone II Rescue Pumper – formerly 21-6 was a high-performance apparatus built for both firefighting and rescue operations. Powered by a Detroit Diesel Series 60 510 hp engine, this pumper provided excellent power and reliability in the field. Its Hale 2000 gpm mid-ship pump, 650-gallon water tank, and 100-gallon Class B AR-AFFF foam tank with a Feecon Around-the-Pump Foam Proportioner ensured it was always ready for both traditional fire suppression and foam firefighting.
Equipped with a TFT Crossfire 1250 gpm monitor and 1200 ft of 4″ supply hose, the Cyclone II offered powerful and adaptable water delivery on the fireground. With 48 ft of ground ladders and an extensive rescue setup including a Ramsey 12,000 lb front-mounted winch, Hurst HRT system, Hurst Rescue Air Bag System, and Paratech Rescue Strut System, this unit was a go-to for technical rescue situations.
It featured an Onan 10kw hydraulic generator for extended operations and provided seating for seven crew members, ensuring that the right personnel and tools were always on hand. Though 21-6 has been retired, it remains an important part of the department’s history, having served reliably in numerous fire and rescue incidents.
