This vehicle was converted into a fire apparatus with a 1058-gallon water tank and a rear-mounted 500 gpm pump, which was powered by a separate 4-cylinder Willys engine. Additionally, it was equipped with a DC gasoline-powered generator and a front-mounted PTO-driven winch, making it not only a firefighting resource but also a valuable tool for rescue and recovery operations.
