April 2011 – Joining a volunteer fire company takes training and dedication. Our members attend various in-house training and also attend the Delaware State Fire School (DSFS) in Dover. This group had taken a course in Hazardous Materials Response Skills, which is a 24 hour hazmat operations level class. The picture was taken near the liquids pad, where trainees fight gasoline tanker fires and the flammable liquid pit fires. Congratulations to these members for a job well done.
