Ashley Furio

Ashley Furio, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 15, 2014, at her home in Lewes, Delaware. She was 25 years old.

Born on May 18, 1989, Ashley was a graduate of St. Elizabeth’s Elementary School and Padua Academy. With a deep passion for caring for others, she was pursuing a degree in nursing and had already earned her Certified Nursing Assistant diploma. Ashley furthered her dedication to helping others by becoming a certified EMT-Basic through the Delaware State Fire School and the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians. She was a proud member of the Mill Creek Fire Company and later joined the Lewes Fire Department.

In her free time, Ashley loved spending time at the beach, surf fishing with family and friends, searching for seashells, and playing cornhole. She cherished the simple pleasures in life, like playing with her beloved dogs, Elvis and Dewey, listening to her favorite music, and spending time with her friends and boyfriend, Jesse.
