Stations 2 & 21, along with New Castle County EMS Paramedics and Aetna Hose Hook & Ladder Co. were alerted to Capitol Trail and E Green Valley Circle for a report of a vehicle accident with a car overturned. Squad 2, Rescue Engine 2, Deputy Chief 2, Deputy Chief 21, BLS, and Fire Police responded. Assistant Chief 7 arrived to find a 2 vehicle crash with 1 on it’s side, with a driver that had self extricated prior to FD arrival. 2 patients were evaluated, 1 was transported to the local trauma center. The crash remains under investigation by Delaware State Police. Fire Police kept the roadway closed until the large debris field could be cleared by DelDOT. Assistant Chief 7-8B held the Mill Creek Command.
