Dodge Power Wagon – 21-4, 21-0

Unit Specifications:
The Dodge Power Wagon – 21-4, 21-0 was a rugged, off-road-capable firefighting unit that served the department from 1961 to 1980. Equipped with a 200-gallon tank and a 30 gpm, 850 psi John Bean high-pressure pump, this truck was designed for effective fire suppression, particularly in areas that required off-road access.

Powered by a 318 cu in. V8 gasoline engine and a 4-speed manual transmission, the Dodge Power Wagon delivered both power and reliability. Its 4-wheel drive capability made it an essential tool for rural and difficult-to-reach firegrounds, where traditional firefighting vehicles struggled.

During its nearly two decades of service, 21-4, 21-0 was instrumental in responding to a variety of incidents, particularly in remote and rugged terrains, proving itself to be a workhorse in the department’s fleet.
