The Seagrave – 21-2 was a reliable and powerful pumper, equipped with a 300-gallon tank and a 1,500 gpm Seagrave pump. Powered by a 350 HP 8V71 Detroit Diesel engine, this unit delivered the performance needed for effective fire suppression. Its 5-speed Syncromesh manual transmission provided manual control for the operator, making it a rugged and dependable vehicle during its years of service.

Built for handling a variety of firefighting scenarios, 21-2 was a key asset in the fleet, providing robust water flow and mobility. Its powerful engine and pump combination made it well-suited for large-scale fire incidents, while the manual transmission allowed for precision handling by experienced operators. This pumper played a significant role in the department’s fire suppression efforts during its time in service.
