On 06/08/2026, shortly before 14:00 hours, Ladder 21 was alerted to the Elsmere Gardens section of Elsmere for a reported structure fire. Squad and 16-8A arrived on dispatch. 16-8A established Command. Squad 16 found fire from the rear of a two-story middle-of-the-row private dwelling. Ladder 21 arrived as the second due special service, splitting their crew to complete vertical ventilation, searches, and overhaul. Ladder 21 operated for just over 2 hours.
