06/20/2026 Box Alarm 2104
Just after 1945 hours this evening, Stations 2/21 along with mutual aid were dispatched for a reported structure fire in the Green Valley community.
Deputy 2 arrived to find smoke showing from the 1st and 2nd floors of a 2-Story “Middle of the Row” structure. Engine 21 arrived as the
First due engine, forward laying from a water supply, and stretching a hand line for fire attack. Shortly after initial companies had arrived,
conditions worsened, prompting a second alarm assignment. Crews operated on scene for a little over 2 hours before the scene was placed
under control. All searches of the residence turned out to be negative.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Delaware State Fire Marshal’s office.
