On the morning of August 3, shortly after 0400 hours, Stations 2 and 21, along with mutual aid companies, were dispatched to Box 2106  for a reported residential structure fire on the
2100 Block of St. James Church Rd. Deputy 2 arrived on the scene to find a single-story residence with fire showing from an attached garage. Engine 21 arrived as the first-due engine, established a water supply, and stretched a handline for a fire attack. Primary and secondary searches of the residence were completed and proved negative.

Crews operated on scene for a little over 2 hours before being released.
