NCC*EMS Announces the 2026 Sudden Cardiac Arrest Survivor Reunion.
This year’s reunion recognized sudden cardiac arrest cases in which patients were successfully resuscitated by first responders and ultimately walked out of the hospital neurologically intact. A total of 220 first responders from 22 agencies will be honored with citations. Those being recognized include 53 New Castle County Paramedics, fire and BLS personnel, 7 emergency communications personnel, law enforcement officers, and bystanders who played a role in these lifesaving responses.
